The Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific, Canada’s Navy band on the West Coast, is a multifaceted ensemble of thirty-five professional musicians who, as ambassadors of national pride and goodwill, perform throughout Canada and abroad.

The Naden Band supports the Commander Maritime Forces Pacific in accomplishing his goal of bringing the Navy to Canadians throughout Western Canada. The band supports local communities with its active role in fund-raising for non-profit organizations, such as the United Way Campaign and the Salvation Army Annual Christmas Toy Drive. The Naden Band is a highly visible touring ensemble that serves as a liaison between the military and the public through its musical support of military, governmental, and civilian functions. The multi-talented members of the band perform in a symphonic concert band, a choreographed marching band, as well as several smaller ensembles such as reception bands, jazz and dance ensembles, Dixieland band, and brass and woodwind quintets.
The Naden Band, in all its versatility, can offer musical support for military or public events, dances, public concerts, school concerts or fund-raising for registered Canadian non-profit organizations.
